Job summary

Affirm is seeking a frontend engineer to build web and mobile experiences across the marketplace and app surface. You will collaborate with product, design, analytics, and other engineers to break down work and deliver in phases, with a focus on maintainable, well-tested code.

You have 1.5+ years of frontend engineering experience, with React or Vue, React Native for mobile, and API design experience. You will own features end-to-end and participate in code reviews and growth initiatives.

Qualifications

• 1.5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience shipping web apps using React or Vue.
• Experience shipping mobile apps with React Native.
• Experience designing, developing and launching APIs using Kotlin or Python.
• Ability to translate simple problems into multi-component solutions with clear, well-tested code.
• Able to navigate large codebases and participate in code reviews.
• Demonstrates ownership of growth and solicits feedback.
• Strong verbal and written communication for global collaboration.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a related field.
