Job summary

Affirm is a remote-first company building transparent credit products. You will contribute to front-end initiatives across web and mobile, partnering with product, design, analytics and other engineers to ship features from ideation to production.

The role requires 1.5+ years as a software engineer, experience with React or Vue, React Native, and API design with Kotlin or Python, plus strong ownership and code-review skills. Eligible for broad benefits and equity.

Qualifications

• Experience shipping web apps with declarative UI frameworks (React/Vue).
• Experience shipping mobile apps with React Native or similar.
• Experience designing, developing and launching APIs at scale (Kotlin/Python).
• Strong ability to break down problems and write clear, well-tested, extensible code.
• Ability to navigate large codebases, review others’ code and give constructive feedback.
• Proactive about成长 and collaborating with product, design, analytics and stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Break down large projects into tasks, deliver in phases, and collaborate for on-time delivery.
• Collaborate with product, design & analytics to ideate and discuss technical constraints and trade-offs.
• Support operations and availability of team artifacts; monitor metrics and participate in on-call efforts.
• Contribute to team community through growth activities and interview participation.
