Affirm is a leading fintech company reinventing credit with a focus on transparent, consumer-friendly buy now, pay later options. We’re seeking a frontend-focused engineer to help shape the Marketplace and App Experience across web and mobile.

You’ll collaborate with product, design, and analytics to deliver impactful features, design robust APIs, and contribute to a culture of growth and ownership. This role is remote-first with flexible office options in the US.

Qualifications

• 1.5+ years of experience as a software engineer.
• Experience shipping web apps using React or Vue.
• Experience shipping mobile apps using React Native.
• Experience designing, developing and launching APIs using Kotlin or Python.
• Able to translate simple problems into multi-component solutions with well-tested code.
• Able to navigate large code bases and provide feedback through reviews.

Responsibilities

• Break down large projects into tasks and deliver in phases.
• Collaborate with product, design & analytics; articulate constraints and trade-offs.
• Support operations and availability; monitor metrics; on-call readiness.
• Contribute to team growth through interview participation and mentorship.
