Job summary

1mind is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineering Lead in San Francisco, CA to architect and own deployments of AI-powered Superhumans into customer web apps. You will be the anchor engineer on flagship deployments and scale the motion across the existing customer base.

You will work hands-on in the browser, deep in the DOM, and collaborate with customer teams to deliver measurable value while shaping tooling and playbooks for the forward deployed organization.

Qualifications

• Extensive front-end engineering experience shipping production web apps.
• Strong JavaScript, HTML, CSS with accessibility (ARIA) knowledge.
• Deep DOM knowledge and browser rendering pipeline expertise.
• Experience with React, Vue, or Svelte frameworks.
• Familiar with Playwright or Puppeteer for UI automation.
• Understanding of authentication and web state (cookies, tokens, localStorage).
• Working knowledge of AI/LLM systems and deployment of agents in production.
• Proven ability to ramp quickly on unfamiliar web apps and collaborate with customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end forward deployments of 1mind’s products — from technical scoping and system design through production rollout inside customer web environments.
• Ramp rapidly on unfamiliar web applications, tracing and debugging HTML/DOM and rendering issues across static, server-rendered, and client-rendered architectures.
• Build and maintain robust UI automation using Playwright, Puppeteer, and Chrome DevTools Protocol to drive reliable agent behavior across desktop and mobile across browsers.
• Work hands‑on with the AI orchestration layer — prompts, retrieval, and agent configuration — to tune Superhuman behavior for each customer’s product and workflows.
• Handle real-world auth and web state — cookies, sessions, tokens, and storage — to deployments secure and resilient.
• Serve as the senior technical partner to customer engineering teams: run technical discovery and translate business needs into deployment plans.
• Codify workflows into repeatable playbooks, tooling, and documentation to accelerate future deployments.
• Provide deployment insights to product roadmap with engineering and leadership.
