Job summary

1mind is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineering Lead to embed with customers and deploy 1mind’s AI Superhumans into live web apps. You’ll work deeply in the DOM and browser rendering, building automation to ensure reliable agent behavior across surfaces buyers touch.

This senior hands-on role anchors our flagship deployment and will expand across the customer base, codifying playbooks, tooling, and defining the forward deployed function as we scale in the SF Bay Area.

Qualifications

• Significant hands-on front-end engineering experience shipping production web apps.
• Strong JavaScript, HTML, and CSS fundamentals, with ARIA accessibility knowledge.
• Deep DOM and browser rendering knowledge; able to debug rendering issues in browser dev tools.
• Proficiency with modern front-end frameworks (React, Vue, or Svelte).
• Production experience with UI automation tools: Playwright, Puppeteer, or Chrome DevTools Protocol.
• Solid grasp of web authentication and storage mechanisms (cookies, tokens, localStorage).
• Familiarity with AI/LLM concepts and deploying agents in production.
• Ability to ramp quickly on unfamiliar apps and navigate fast-moving customer environments.
• Strong customer-facing communication; able to lead technical conversations.
• Based in or willing to relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end forward deployments of 1mind’s products inside customer web environments.
• Rapidly ramp on unfamiliar web apps, debug HTML/DOM rendering issues.
• Build and maintain UI automation to drive reliable agent behavior across browsers.
• Tune AI orchestration for each customer’s workflows and product.
• Handle auth and web state to keep deployments secure and resilient.
• Partner with customer teams and translate requirements into deployment plans.
• Create repeatable playbooks and tooling for faster future deployments.
• Provide deployment insights to inform the product roadmap.
