Job summary

Optym is seeking a Software Engineer – Frontend to join our AI product team as a strong individual contributor with growing leadership responsibilities. This role focuses on scalable frontend systems, UI architecture, design consistency and innovation across AI-powered applications.

You will shape frontend standards, contribute to a unified design system, and explore modern UI paradigms for AI-powered workflows including micro-frontends and scalable state management.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience building production-grade web applications.
• Strong expertise in TypeScript, React, and modern frontend patterns.
• Hands-on experience with Next.js and API integration strategies.
• Experience designing or contributing to component libraries or design systems.
• Familiarity with micro-frontend architecture and scalable frontend design.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship scalable frontend applications using Next.js, React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.
• Contribute to and maintain a unified component library and design system.
• Architect and implement micro-frontend solutions using Module Federation or similar approaches.
• Develop MCP servers for design-to-code and UI automation workflows.
• Implement robust state management using Context API, Zustand, or similar patterns.
• Build real-time UX with SSE, WebSockets, and polling strategies.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Backend teams to deliver cohesive solutions.
• Contribute to testing, code reviews, CI/CD, and release quality.
