Job summary

Opiniion is a SaaS, AI-first company reshaping how businesses understand and act on customer feedback. We are seeking a Staff Engineer, Frontend to lead hands-on execution while elevating frontend architecture, performance, and product quality across the platform.

You will partner with the Staff Software Architect and cross-functional teams to guide frontend standards, ship polished experiences, and establish durable frontend patterns as Opiniion scales. Hybrid in Lehi, UT.

Qualifications

• Significant frontend experience, 10+ years, in SaaS environments.
• Deep expertise in React & TypeScript in production.
• Strong command of component architecture and scalable UI patterns.
• Proven experience mentoring engineers and guiding technical direction.
• Experience with AI/LLM-powered UX in production is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own frontend architecture governance within the broader technical direction.
• Write high-quality, production-grade frontend code as an individual contributor.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews, pairing and design feedback.
• Define and reinforce frontend standards for components, state, performance, testing, accessibility.
• Partner with product, design and engineering to turn requirements into polished user experiences.
• Balance contributions to current and next-gen platforms; guide trade-offs.
• Design and ship AI-capable frontend experiences and patterns.
• Identify and resolve frontend performance, accessibility, and reliability issues.
• Contribute to design reviews and technical planning; align with platform goals.
• Shape deployment observability and release quality for frontend systems.
• Use AI tools to improve speed and quality while maintaining UX standards.
