Job summary

Read AI is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer who will shape how users interact with our platform. You will work on the reporting app, billing system, native note-taking apps for Zoom, Meet, and Teams, and browser extensions, using TypeScript and React to deliver impactful features.

You will own frontend quality, collaborate with product and design, and mentor teammates in a fast-growing startup, balancing performance, accessibility, and clean code while shipping frequently.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering and 5–7+ years of frontend experience.
• Strong experience with TypeScript and React.
• Experience with state management libraries like Redux or Zustand.
• Proficient in modern web development and responsive design.
• Excellent problem-solving and customer-focused mindset.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup with autonomy.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Mentoring developers to grow skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement new features from product specifications and visual designs handed-off via Figma.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop scalable and maintainable APIs.
• Design and build responsive and accessible user interfaces that work across devices and browsers.
• Continuously improve frontend quality, testing, and performance.
• Provide feedback to the product team during development processes.
• Take ownership of product workstreams and drive impact for Read AI.
