Job summary

Coury Hospitality is seeking a Front Office Supervisor for Ambassador Hotel Wichita to lead day and night front desk operations in a luxury setting. You will oversee guest check-in/out, reservations, and communications while coaching a frontline team to deliver personalized service consistent with our upscale standards.

Ideal candidates bring Front Desk or guest services experience, supervisory background, and strong leadership, with proficiency in PMS systems and office tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous Front Desk or Guest Services experience required.
• Previous supervisory or team lead experience in a hotel or hospitality environment preferred.
• Experience using property management systems (PMS) and standard office applications.
• Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead Front Desk operations during assigned shifts with focus on personalized service.
• Perform Front Desk Agent duties including check-in/check-out, reservations, billing, and guest communications.
• Coach, train, onboard, and mentor Front Desk staff in collaboration with the Front Office Manager.
• Model professionalism, accountability, and proactive guest service.
• Act as first point of contact for guest concerns and provide timely service recovery.
• Coordinate shift coverage, breaks, and daily workflow for efficient Front Office operations.
• Ensure amenities, welcome gifts, VIP arrivals, and special requests are delivered on time.
• Monitor lobby and Front Desk appearance to maintain a polished environment.
• Complete daily reports, checklists, audits, and cash-handling procedures accurately.
• Collaborate with Housekeeping, Engineering, Bell Services, F&B, and other departments for seamless guest experiences.
