The Patient Service Specialist performs complex administrative duties including patient registration, scheduling, customer service, and managing multi-line phone systems. This role requires knowledge of various systems and procedures, ensuring every patient is treated with quality clinical care and a respectful experience.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, managing check-in/out, handling paperwork, answering phones, scheduling, maintaining supplies, following HIPAA guidelines, and supporting administrative functions. Medical assistant duties such as drug screens and TB skin test reads may also be performed.

Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or GED

Experience: 6 months to 1 year; knowledge of occupational medicine requirements preferred

Skills: Customer service, confidentiality, communication, Microsoft Office proficiency, ability to perform front office operations, and a service-oriented mindset.
