Job summary

T. Rowe Price seeks a Software Engineer to build a suite of next-generation, cloud-native applications supporting the Investment Division. This hands-on, full-stack role spans design, development, deployment, and enhancement, collaborating with portfolio managers, quants, traders, and senior stakeholders.

You will work across the product lifecycle, using modern frameworks and AI-enabled patterns, with a focus on high-quality, scalable solutions in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, or equivalent practical experience
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or JavaScript
• Experience with Pandas, React, Node.js, and Spring Boot
• Experience with cloud technologies, containerization, and serverless architectures
• Strong testing experience (TDD/BDD/Cucumber/Cypress)
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redshift)

Responsibilities

• Engineer full-stack software solutions across design, development, deployment, and enhancements
• Collaborate with portfolio managers, quants, traders, and stakeholders
• Apply modern software engineering practices (agile, CD, code review, testing and refactoring)
• Deliver high-quality, data-driven software for the Investment Division
• Contribute to a culture of learning, quality, and collaboration
• Support production readiness and reliability of AI-enabled or data-driven components
