Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality, The Colony Hotel in Maine, is seeking a Front Office Manager to lead the front office team and drive guest service excellence. You will supervise door, bell, concierge and front desk functions, implement efficient processes, and collaborate with Sales, Housekeeping, and Maintenance to meet hotel goals.

The role requires 5+ years of leadership in a service-focused hotel, strong computer skills, and experience with PMS systems.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience leading a Front Office team in a service-focused hotel or resort environment.
• Strong computer skills and experience with PMS systems.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced setting and lead by example.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements strategies for front office, bell staff, concierge, reservations, van service, etc. to support hotel goals.
• Monitors status regularly and adjusts strategies as appropriate.
• Manages the operation of the front office and related areas.
• Creates the first impression by supervising the door, bell, van service, concierge and front office areas.
• Develops and implements processes and procedures for assigned departments to meet service and financial goals.
• Assists with annual budget preparation and monitors progress against budget.
