Job Description

Responsible for managing all aspects of the Front Desk and Royal Services functions, ensuring adherence to hotel standards. Lead, implement, and uphold a service and leadership philosophy guiding the team.

  1. Maintain knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, service procedures, and standards.
  2. Ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment.
  3. Anticipate guest needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests at all times.
  4. Maintain positive guest relations and resolve complaints to ensure satisfaction.
  5. Oversee cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of work areas.
  6. Have basic knowledge of the surrounding area and hotel features.
  7. Stay informed about room types, rates, promotions, and hotel policies.
  8. Access and utilize all computer system functions.
  9. Answer department phones promptly with proper etiquette.
  10. Ensure staff are knowledgeable about rates, packages, and promotions.
  11. Review daily business levels, anticipate issues, and plan effective solutions.
  12. Prepare and adjust weekly staff schedules based on business needs.
  13. Ensure staff punctuality, report absences, and coordinate breaks.
  14. Assign duties, conduct pre-shift meetings, and inspect staff grooming and attire.
  15. Ensure readiness of materials and equipment for service.
  16. Monitor staff performance and guest interactions, providing feedback and assistance.
  17. Assist with check-in/check-out processes and guest service issues.
  18. Observe guest reactions and confer with staff to maintain high satisfaction levels.
  19. Follow hotel policies regarding guest and colleague safety, including in emergencies.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  2. Ability to suggestively sell and previous guest relations training.
  3. Experience in cashiering and supervisory roles, preferably in a 4-5 Star/Diamond hotel.
  4. Fluency in English, both verbal and non-verbal.
  5. Basic arithmetic skills.
