Job summary

Shamin Hotels seeks a Front Office Manager to lead front desk operations, supervise staff, and ensure exceptional guest service. The role focuses on aligning staffing with occupancy, training employees, and driving profitability across guest services.

You will manage reservations, monitor financials, and enforce hotel policies while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for guests at our Chester, VA property. Strong hospitality experience and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or extensive hotel/related field experience.
• 3+ years of hotel brand experience preferred.
• Strong financial knowledge; able to work with financial data and basic math.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Front Desk staff: hiring, training, evaluations and development.
• Maintains standards of guest service quality.
• Achieves budgeted revenues and expenses and maximizes profitability of guest services.
• Develops short- and long-term plans for the guest service department.
• Manages reservation function to maximize occupancy and ADR.
• Schedules staff according to labor standards and forecasted occupancy.
• Ensures compliance with company policies and privacy/security procedures.
