Job summary

JL Hospitality Management in Anchorage, AK is seeking an energetic Operations Manager to lead our Front Office team and deliver exceptional guest experiences. This hands-on role partners with the General Manager to oversee daily hotel operations, drive service scores, and maintain brand standards.

You will recruit, train, and coach Front Desk staff, coordinate with Housekeeping and Maintenance, and manage labor costs while keeping payroll accurate.

Qualifications

• Minimum hospitality leadership experience at Front Office or similar role.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team-building abilities.
• Ability to coach and develop associates while maintaining accountability.
• Excellent guest service and conflict-resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Front Desk operations to ensure exceptional guest service and efficient check-in/check-out.
• Manage reservations, front office systems, inventory, cash controls, and scheduling.
• Recruit, train, coach, motivate, and develop Front Desk staff.
• Foster hospitality culture, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping and Maintenance for seamless operations.
• Address guest concerns professionally and resolve issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with policies, brand standards, and procedures.
• Lead daily team communications, meetings, and training sessions.
