Job summary

LifeLong Medical Care is seeking a Front Office & Eligibility Coordinator to join our San Pablo Urgent Care team. You will handle reception, registration, scheduling, and eligibility screening to keep patient flow smooth in a busy primary care setting.

This full-time, 40-hour-per-week position offers competitive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, nine paid holidays, a 403(b) plan, and FSA options. SEIU-UHW members may be part of the bargaining agreement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of experience in the medical field.
• Excellent customer service and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Proficient in standard office software (Microsoft).
• Bilingual English/Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors warmly and provide front desk service.
• Handle patient reception, registration, check-in, and appointment scheduling.
• Perform data entry, document and card scanning and validation.
• Manage patient flow between front and back office.
• Prepare eligibility information ahead of clinic visits.
• Answer clinic phones and direct calls; follow up when needed.
• Collect visit copays and manage cash collections.
• Maintain waiting areas and reception desk.
