Job summary

Montage International is seeking a Director of Front Office to lead guest reception, guest services, reservations and concierge operations, with a strong focus on profitable financial management and strategic leadership. The role partners with the business to support goals, vision and values of the company in a luxury hospitality setting.

The position requires directing department operations, ensuring guest satisfaction, and driving performance while maintaining compliance with applicable laws

Qualifications

• Three to five years of hotel management experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Advanced skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Opera, HotSOS, Rex and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Create, implement and execute department trainings, recruiting and pre-shifts.
• Manage associate engagement, scheduling, payroll, counseling and quarterly department meetings.
• Create and implement profit and flow-through enhancing strategies and programs.
• Review daily financial and labor reports; adjust operations to meet budget and forecasts.
• Oversee the arrival and departure experience, ensuring guest expectations are exceeded.
• Analyze monthly P&L and develop strategies for long-term financial success.
• Lead by example and provide direct service to guests as needed.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment, labor and civil rights laws.
• Uphold Human Resources standards and procedures daily.
• Support hotel life-safety systems and be prepared for emergencies.
