Job summary

SPIRE Hospitality, LLC seeks a Front Office Manager for Hilton Garden Inn Detroit Downtown in Detroit, MI. The role ensures full operational functionality of the building and delivers exceptional guest service with the front desk team.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, managing VIP reservations, monitoring lobby traffic, preparing payroll and reports, and acting as Manager on Duty. Weekend and night shifts are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent.
• 4 year degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management or related major.
• 4 years experience as Director of Front Office or Front Office Manager or a combination of both experience and education.
• Additional language ability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise front office staff and discipline as needed.
• Monitor lobby traffic and adjust staffing.
• Interview, selects, trains, supervises staff and administers disciplinary procedures for front office staff.
• Manage VIP reservations and group blocks; handle amenity orders.
• Compute daily payroll and prepare reports.
• Serve as Manager On Duty during shifts.
• Resolve guest concerns with discretion and judgment.
