Overview: Regional Cancer Care Associates (RCCA) is seeking an exceptional Front Office Coordinator to join their team. This role involves greeting and welcoming patients and their families, answering and directing incoming calls, and providing administrative support. The ideal candidate must possess strong multi-tasking skills and a positive attitude. Experience is preferred but we are open to new graduates interested in oncology care.

Employment Type: Temporary Full Time

Location: Falmouth, MA

Responsibilities:
  1. Greet patients and visitors professionally, check-in patients, and inform clinical staff of arrivals.
  2. Explain paperwork, collect proofs, scan/file forms, and update patient information.
  3. Answer phone calls courteously, route inquiries, and communicate messages accurately.
  4. Manage patient cancellations, reschedules, and notify staff accordingly.
  5. Schedule outside procedures, maintain clinic area, and ensure supplies are stocked.
  6. Adhere to confidentiality and HIPAA regulations.
  7. Schedule scans and maintain patient charts and insurance information.
  8. Perform other administrative duties as required.
Qualifications:
  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. At least 18 months of experience as a medical receptionist, with knowledge of insurance forms and scheduling software.
  3. Proficiency in computer systems and Microsoft Office.
  4. Ability to complete required e-learning courses within 90 days.

  2. High standards of performance and commitment to quality.
Physical & Work Environment:

Must be able to perform essential functions, including sitting, standing, lifting up to 40 lbs., and working in environments with potential exposure to communicable diseases and chemicals. Regular attendance during scheduled hours is required, with in-person interaction with staff and patients.
