Job summary

Burlington Stores is seeking a Shortage Control Associate to help maintain a secure, welcoming shopping environment while delivering friendly, attentive customer service. You will monitor entrances, assist with theft prevention, greet customers with a warm smile, and report suspicious activity to management.

Flexible schedule includes nights, weekends, and holidays; part-time associates may receive benefits and an associate discount.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, Asset Protection, Loss Prevention, or Operations is preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality is required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with disciplined decision making.

Responsibilities

• Monitor entrances and exits to reduce theft opportunities.
• Greet every customer with a warm smile and energetic greeting.
• Identify and report theft incidents or suspicious activity to management.
