Job summary

Burlington Stores, located in Royal Palm Beach, is seeking a Shortage Control Associate to help keep our store secure while delivering exceptional customer service.

You will monitor entrances and high-risk areas, greet customers, and report theft or suspicious activity to the Manager on Duty. Prior retail or asset protection experience is preferred; flexible availability including nights and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, Asset Protection, Loss Prevention, or Operations is preferred
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and visually monitor store environment
• Commitment to confidentiality and safety procedures
• Strong communication with customers and co-workers
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Monitor store entrances and high-risk areas to reduce theft opportunities
• Greet customers with a warm smile and energetic greeting
• Identify and report theft incidents or suspicious activity to management
• Support training of associates on shortage reduction programs
• Maintain professional appearance and adhere to dress standards
• Communicate theft prevention information during store rallies
