Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a Loss Prevention/Front-of-Store associate to deter theft, support store management, and help ensure a safe shopping environment. You will wear a body-worn camera and work closely with store teams and LP to protect the company brand.

Candidates should have strong communication, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently. Prior retail or security experience is welcomed, with a starting pay range aligned to retail standards.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication required.
• Ability to take initiative and work independently.
• Prioritizes and organizes workload and manages time effectively.
• Able to stand for long periods of time.
• 0-2 years retail or security experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a proper, professional stance at the front of the store.
• Act as a visual deterrent to prevent loss or dishonesty.
• Wear a Company approved uniform including a Body Worn Camera.
• Greet customers and demonstrate courtesy and respect.
• Refer customers to management or customer service via radios.
• Observe and report suspicious behavior or incidents to LP or store management.
• Perform a closing safety sweep of the store with management.
• Document incidents in AIIM Case Management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
