Job summary

Ponca City Development Authority is seeking a Front of House Supervisor to support the Rock & Brews Casino restaurant in daily operations, supervise staff, ensure cleanliness, and deliver quality guest service. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, and at least two years of related experience.

Availability for evenings and weekends is necessary; proficiency in Word/Excel and the ability to obtain food handler certification and alcohol server licensing are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Two years of related experience preferred or required.
• Background and drug screenings required; Kaw Nation Gaming Commission licensure.
• Evenings, weekends, holidays and other shifts required.
• Able to lift items up to 50 pounds and perform bending, stooping, walking, standing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; detail-oriented.
• Able to obtain/maintain required food handler certification and alcohol server licensing.
• Strong communication, organizational, leadership, and customer service skills.
• Able to multitask and work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Front of House Manager with daily restaurant operations and supervision.
• Oversee front-of-house staff and provide direction when the manager is absent.
• Assist with scheduling, training, and performance management.
• Ensure opening and closing duties are completed and cleanliness maintained.
• Train employees across shifts to ensure consistent service.
• Maintain current employee food handler certifications and alcohol licenses.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, health, sanitation, and safety requirements.
• Monitor food and beverage needs, supplies, and equipment based on events.
• Monitor service times to ensure prompt, quality service.
• Delegate tasks, lead by example, and promote teamwork and accountability.
• Address guest concerns professionally and notify management for assistance.
• Follow company policies and applicable laws; maintain professional appearance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
