Responsibilities

• Participate in day-to-day operations in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant.
• Respond promptly and respectfully to guest needs.
• Assist in training new hires and set the tone for the shift.
• Be a friendly, encouraging team player and lead by example.
• Open and/or close shifts, act as a key holder, and help with shift readiness.
• Count drawers and finalize daily cash if applicable.
• Communicate effectively, both written and spoken.

A Front of House Shift Leader is one who consistently demonstrates our core values, embraces the Chick-fil-A culture and has a servant’s heart. They have a passion for people and serving others, have strong character, take initiative and work with a sense of urgency at all times. Our Shift Leaders are responsible for supporting senior leadership in executing daily operations and keeping team members accountable for each component of Operational Excellence and our Recipe for Service. A Shift Leader’s two main areas of focus are completing tasks so that the restaurant runs effectively, and coaching/developing team members. Team Leaders lead by example and set the tone that others will follow.

Shift Leader Responsibilities:

• Participating operationally in day-to-day activities in high-volume, fast-paced Restaurant
• Offer immediate and respectful response to Guest's needs
• Assist in training of new hires, set the tone for a shift, and act as a role model for our team
