Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Service Leader to maintain a positive customer experience by ensuring safe, high-quality food is prepared and served and the crew is well trained.

The role requires staying on your feet, coordinating line operations, and stepping in to complete tasks when not busy, while upholding Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy and leading by example to develop future leaders.

Qualifications

• Understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Knowledge of cash handling policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of Food Safety and health department matters.
• Proficiency in speaking, writing and reading the primary language of the work location.
• High school diploma.
• Restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Making sure great tasting, high quality food is served
• Helping to resolve food quality issues
• Supporting food safety which includes hand washing, glove changes, time/temperature monitoring, shelf life checks, and daily Food Safety Checklist adherence
• Helping to resolve customer incidents and ensure positive customer experiences
• Monitoring crew breaks, shift changes, and line schedules
• Developing and cross training all front of house Crew
• Assisting with Crew performance reviews
• Developing future Service Leaders
• Assisting with office administration duties such as banking, cash handling policies and office paperwork
• Ensuring office equipment remains in working order and supplies are ordered
• Ensuring the proper quantity of supplies are available as needed
