Job summary

The Cowfish in Charlotte, NC is seeking a rockstar leader to run the entire front-of-house operation. You will drive daily operations across dining room, bar, and host stand, while keeping guests engaged and ensuring a safe, welcoming environment.

Ideal candidates have management experience in high-volume restaurants, exceptional people skills, and a ServSafe certification or commitment. You will be responsible for coaching teams, scheduling, and ensuring profitability.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in developing, coaching, and managing teams.
• Ability to lead in a high-volume restaurant environment.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• ServSafe certification is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily front-of-house operations including dining room, bar, and host stand.
• Engage with guests, collect feedback, and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Foster a safe, warm, and welcoming environment for guests and staff.
• Coach managers and team members on performance and compliance; train and develop staff.
• Schedule weekly staffing to meet business needs and volume.
• Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard new team members.
• Oversee cash handling, deposits, and financial reporting.
• Collaborate with General Manager and Head Chef on admin duties and profitability.
