Job summary

Rochester Corner Bar in Rochester, MI is seeking a Front of House Manager to lead dining room, bar, and guest experience. You will train staff, manage schedules, coordinate reservations, uphold health and safety standards, review profitability, and handle supplier and inventory tasks.

Strong leadership and communication are essential; experience in high-volume restaurant/catering is required.

Qualifications

• Management experience in the Food & Beverage industry is preferred.
• Experience working in a high volume restaurant/catering is required.
• Strong leadership and motivational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills that foster collaboration, and teamwork.
• Knowledge of industry health and safety standards.
• Software experience in POS, Microsoft Office, and Liquor Control System.

Responsibilities

• Oversee dining room, bar, and customer experience.
• Manage and train employees on the restaurant floor.
• Manage work schedules and coordinate reservations with the host.
• Ensure health and safety is top priority.
• Review financial statements to maintain profitability.
• Manage suppliers, bar inventory and ordering, cash registers.
• Assist in the hiring process.
