Job summary

Flour Bakery + Cafe in Boston is seeking a Front-of-House Manager to lead our guest service team and uphold Flour's hospitality standards.

You will train and coach staff, schedule shifts, and collaborate with kitchen colleagues to deliver outstanding experiences. This salaried role offers a starting salary of $65,000 with a range up to $78,000 and a strong benefits package including health insurance, 401k, paid time off, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of management in food service.
• Availability for early mornings, closing, holidays and weekends.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks.
• Ability to operate cash register, espresso machinery and related equipment.
• Ability to delegate and lead by example.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead FOH team with in-the-moment coaching and role modeling.
• Maintain a positive, respectful team environment.
• Forecast hiring needs and participate in interviewing staff.
• Train FOH staff on pastry/savory items and service procedures.
• Maintain bakery cleanliness and organization.
• Oversee staff scheduling and time clock maintenance.
