Job summary

Northlight Theatre is seeking a House Manager to ensure patron safety and comfort by leading Front of House operations. You will supervise ushers, handle patron issues, and coordinate timings with the stage manager to ensure smooth performances at our Evanston venue.

The role requires prior Front of House/customer service experience, the ability to stand for long periods, and BASSET and food handler certifications.

Qualifications

• Prior Front of House/customer service experience required.
• Standing for prolonged periods and lifting may be required; accommodations can be arranged.
• Illinois BASSET certification and food handler training; fees and hours covered by Northlight Theatre.
• Skilled in basic Google Suite functions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise ushers and Front of House operations.
• Resolve patron issues and coordinate house timings with the stage manager.
• Complete incident reporting and lead emergency protocols.
