Job summary

Cunningham Restaurant Group (CRG) is seeking a Host to be the first point of contact, delivering exceptional service and ensuring a smooth dining experience in Indianapolis. Your welcoming demeanor and strong organizational skills will help manage seating, reservations, and guest needs.

You will coordinate with servers, bussers, and kitchen staff to optimize flow, inform guests about menus and specials, and maintain a tidy host stand.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Friendly and outgoing personality with a positive attitude.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
• Familiarity with reservation systems or software is a plus.
• Previous host/hostess experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Guest Greeting and Seating: Welcome guests, manage waitlist and reservations, escort to tables, and optimize seating.
• Reservation Management: Take and confirm reservations, maintain reservation book, communicate special requests.
• Guest Assistance: Provide menu info, daily specials, promotions, and coat check assistance.
• Communication and Coordination: Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff, relay guest information, manage guest flow.
• Cleanliness and Organization: Keep host stand and waiting area clean and well-stocked.
