Job summary

Isleta Resort and Casino is seeking staff for the front-of-house snack bar, responsible for setup, operation, and closing of snack bar areas. Duties include food preparation, service, and attending to guest requests while delivering World Class Guest Service.

Experience with POS, cash handling, and a friendly, professional demeanor is essential. The role requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, and compliance with licensing and food-handling certifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and/or GED preferred.
• OSHA knowledge; Alcohol awareness programs; New Mexico Beverage
• Minimum six (6) months cash handling or food service preferred.
• Must possess and maintain a valid New Mexico Alcohol Servers Certification, required.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Indian Health Services Food Handler’s Certification, required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food prep, service and dining areas are stocked and clean.
• Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Assist in bussing and cleaning tables.
• Take orders at the POS and process promptly.
• Register cash, credit/debit payments accurately.
• Check IDs as required and ensure transaction authenticity.
• Count cash at start/end of shift and reconcile with cash balance.
• Complete required reports and documentation.
• Prepare food and drink items as needed for the outlet.
• Deliver orders to guests promptly and hospitably.
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of all areas.
• Ensure safe and sanitary service of goods.
• Promote welcoming atmosphere and guest relations.
• Provide information on promotions and events when asked.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
