Job summary

Isleta Resort and Casino is seeking a bar back to support the beverage service team. You will help maintain bar stock, prepare garnishes, and assist in bartender duties when needed, ensuring a clean and inviting bar area. Your role contributes to a positive guest experience across shifts.

You will participate in daily briefings, follow inventory procedures, and assist in training staff while upholding sanitation standards and a friendly, professional attitude toward guests and team members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 1 year of bar backing experience required.
• Ability to provide friendly, efficient guest service.

Responsibilities

• Maintain bar stock to established par levels.
• Prepare beverage garnish stock.
• In bartender's absence, perform bartender duties for a limited time.
• Ensure bar areas are clean, sanitary, and organized.
• Attend daily communication meetings and training classes.
• Follow requisition, transfer and inventory procedures.
• Promote a welcoming atmosphere and assist skill development.
• Greet guests and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Explain promotions and events as requested.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Train other staff in beverage service.
• Adhere to sanitation and safety rules for food service.
