Job summary

TimeLine Theatre Company in Chicago's Uptown neighborhood seeks a part-time House Manager/Box Office Associate to blend box office duties with house management. Expect 10-20 hours per week during performance schedule, non-exempt, hourly pay, with evening/weekend availability.

You will report to the Audience Services Manager and collaborate across production and administration, emphasizing accessibility, safety, and excellent customer service for in-person performances and readings.

Qualifications

• Availability to work evenings and weekends, including Wednesdays–Sundays, with occasional Tuesday performances.
• Some prior experience performing high-volume customer service.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide box office and customer service with ADA awareness and accessibility in mind.
• Cross-train to work as House Manager and Box Office Associate during shifts.
• Handle Will Call/box office duties, answer patron questions, distribute tickets, and trouble-shoot issues.
• Support a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere and collaborate with Audience Services and Marketing teams.
