Job description

A Front of House Director is one who consistently demonstrates our core values, embraces the Chick-fil-A culture, and has a servant’s heart. They have a passion for people, hospitality, and operational excellence while leading with urgency and intentionality at all times. This individual is responsible for leading the Front of House shift leaders and team leaders to deliver a remarkable guest experience across all sales channels, including the drive-thru, dining room, and front counter. The Front of House Director creates systems, builds culture, and develops leaders to ensure hospitality excellence and strong operational results. The primary focus of this role is to build a hospitality-driven culture, lead Front of House strategy, and drive performance through people development and measurable outcomes.

Front of House Director Responsibilities:

• Lead Front of House shift leaders to deliver a remarkable guest experience in all sales channels
• Create and maintain systems that build hospitality culture and habits in the drive-thru, dining room, and front counter
• Maintain a clean, organized, and guest-focused environment
• Own restaurant signage updates for both the dining room and drive-thru
• Identify opportunities to improve guest experience
• Provide strategic content and feedback to the talent department for training and development
• Own and manage the Front of House schedule
• Know department metrics and present them in leadership meetings
• Lead team and shift leaders in operational strategies through meetings, huddles, and coaching conversations
• Drive execution of Front of House systems and standards
• Ensure strong communication and alignment across all Front of House leaders

Target Behaviors:

• Foster strong relationships with directors and supervisors
• Allocate weekly time to strategic thinking and planning within the department
• Organize content for individual meetings with the Operator and leadership team
• Be familiar with department performance metrics
