Job summary

Rumpke Waste & Recycling is seeking Front Load Drivers to deliver essential waste and recycling services on assigned routes. You will operate trucks, perform routine inspections, and maintain route paperwork while engaging professionally with customers.

Candidates must hold a valid Class B CDL, be capable of handling 100–150 commercial stops daily, and comply with safety protocols in a dynamic outdoor environment, including nights and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand a map and/or navigation system.
• Excellent truck driving/maneuvering skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills with customers.
• General knowledge of truck mechanics.
• Must be able to read and speak English well enough to communicate and understand safety training.

Responsibilities

• Operate trucks to provide trash or recycling removal on assigned routes.
• Maintain and update route sheets.
• Conduct daily pre-trip/post-trip inspections and complete DVIR logs.
• Interact professionally with internal and external customers.
• Service approximately 100–150 commercial customers per day.
