Job summary

Rumpke Waste & Recycling is seeking a Front Load Driver to service commercial customers on assigned routes, hauling waste and recycling to disposal sites. The role requires safe operation, on-time delivery, and professional interaction with customers.

You will perform pre-trip inspections, maintain route sheets, and ensure truck cleanliness while adhering to safety protocols. A valid Class B CDL and DOT Medical Card are required; willingness to work nights and weekends is expected.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand a map and/or navigation system.
• Must be able to read and speak English well enough to communicate directions and safety training.
• General knowledge of truck mechanics.
• Strong written and verbal communication with customers and teammates.

Responsibilities

• Operate trucks safely to service commercial customers and haul waste to disposal sites.
• Maintain and update route sheets; perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections.
• Ensure truck cab cleanliness and safe dumping procedures; secure service gates.
