Job summary

Rumpke Waste & Recycling in Ohio is seeking a Front Load Driver to service commercial customers on assigned routes, hauling waste and recycling to disposal sites. You will operate front-load trucks, dump containers, and maintain a professional safety standard.

Candidates must hold a valid Class B CDL and DOT Medical Card, be at least 19 years old, and be able to work nights and weekends. Expect to service 100–150 drops per day on varied routes with strong safety practices.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class B CDL and a DOT Medical Card.
• 19 years of age or older and legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• Clean driving record with no DUI/OVI in the last 5 years and minimal moving violations.
• Strong driving, safety, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate trucks safely to provide trash or recycling removal on routes and discharge containers into trucks.
• Maintain and update route sheets.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete DVIR logs.
• Keep truck cab clean and ready for service.
• Visually inspect front load containers for safe dumping.
• Clean up around containers after servicing customers as needed.
• Open and secure service gates while servicing customers.
• Interact professionally with internal and external customers.
• Manage packer blade cleaning and follow Lock Out/Tag Out procedures.
• Serve approximately 100–150 commercial customers per day.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
