Job summary

Rumpke is expanding its team in Indiana with a Front Load Driver role on assigned routes. You will service commercial customers, dump front-load containers, and haul waste or recycling to disposal sites or plants.

Daily duties include entering/exiting the truck repeatedly, opening gates, and logging routes while upholding safety standards. The position requires a valid Class B CDL and DOT Medical Card, a minimum age of 19, and a willingness to work nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class B CDL and DOT Medical Card before hire.
• Must be at least 19 years old and legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• 1–2 years CDL driving experience preferred; front-load experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate trucks to service commercial customers on assigned routes, unloading trash/recycling.
• Routinely enter/exit the truck 100–150 times daily depending on route.
• Open/secure service gates; pull or push containers as needed.
• Maintain route and driver logs; perform pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Interact professionally with customers; keep truck clean and presentable.
• Inspect containers and dump procedures for safety; assist with area cleanup.
• Follow Lock Out/Tag Out procedures and comply with safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
