Job summary

Rumpke Waste and Recycling is seeking a Front Load Driver to service commercial customers on assigned routes, hauling waste and recyclables to disposal sites. You will safely operate the truck, maintain routes, and perform daily inspections.

Candidates should have a valid Class B CDL, a DOT medical card, and be able to work nights and weekends. Rumpke offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, life insurance, and paid vacation.

Qualifications

• Must have at least a valid Class B CDL.
• Must have a valid DOT Medical Card or able to obtain prior to hire.
• Must be at least 19 years of age.
• No more than 3 moving violations within the last 2 years.
• Must not have any DUI's or OVI's within the last 5 years or 2 in the last 10 years.
• Must be able to read and speak the English language.

Responsibilities

• Operate trucks safely to provide trash or recycling removal on assigned routes.
• Maintain and update route sheets and perform pre/post-trip inspections.
• Interact professionally with customers and keep the truck and area clean.
• Service approximately 100 - 150 commercial customers per day.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
