Job summary

Rumpke Waste and Recycling is seeking a Front Load Driver to service commercial customers on assigned routes, hauling waste or recycling to disposal sites. You will perform daily vehicle checks, operate the truck safely, and interact professionally with customers.

Candidates should have a valid Class B CDL, be able to read maps, and understand English. The role requires flexible hours, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed, with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand a map and/or navigation system.
• Must be able to read and speak the English language well enough to communicate, understand, and respond.

Responsibilities

• Operate trucks in a safe manner to provide trash or recycling removal services to customers on assigned route(s) and/or work orders by emptying trash/recycling containers into trucks and hauling them to a disposal site
• Maintains and updates route sheets
• Conduct daily pre-trip/post-trip inspections and complete DVIR logs
• Maintain cleanliness of truck cab
• Visually inspect front load containers to ensure safe dumping procedures
• Clean up areas located around containers when servicing customers as needed
• Open and secure service gates while servicing customers
• Professionally interact with internal and external customers
• Clean waste from the packer blade and truck body while following proper Lock Out/Tag Out procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned
