Job summary

GFL in Sparta, WI seeks a Front-End Driver to operate front-end trucks on multi-family and commercial routes, collecting waste and recyclables and transporting to designated facilities. You will follow safety protocols, perform inspections, and interact with customers along daily routes.

The role requires a valid CDL and at least 1 year of driving experience (or a CDL school certificate). Strong safety awareness and navigation skills are essential for success on this busy route network.

Qualifications

Must hold a valid CDL.
At least 1 year of commercial truck driving experience or a CDL school certificate.
Ability to safely drive the truck and operate equipment.

Responsibilities

Drive front-end trucks on designated routes to collect waste and transport to facilities.
Open containers and load cans as needed.
Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and submit vehicle reports.
Interact courteously with customers along the route and report issues.
Maintain route logs and vehicle condition reports as required by policy or law.
