Job summary

GFL Industries is seeking a safety-focused commercial driver to operate residential/recycling trucks on assigned routes in Wisconsin. You will load materials, perform pre-trip inspections, and communicate any mechanical issues to leadership, while maintaining route quality and safety standards.

The role requires a valid CDL, a high school diploma or GED, and at least one year of driving experience or CDL school completion.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED desired.
• Must possess a Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Minimum one (1) year of commercial driving experience OR CDL school certificate.
• Must meet safety-sensitive criteria per company standards.
• Ability to safely drive the truck and operate the equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate a residential/recycling collection truck on assigned routes.
• Load solid waste, yard waste, and/or recyclables into the vehicle.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections and report issues.
• Maintain route quality and adhere to safety standards.
• Overtime may be required and recommended safety practices followed.
