CarMax, the nation’s largest retailer of used cars, invites you to join a structured six-week Front-Line Manager in Training program in our Service Operations department. This program develops your leadership and operations skills to manage processes and lead teams.

Upon successful completion, you will transition into a leadership role such as Flow Mechanical Manager, Flow Cosmetic Manager, Flow Supply Manager, Inventory Manager, or Service Manager, with exposure to cross-functional teams and

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams toward operational goals.
• Strong data interpretation and record-keeping for compliance.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Familiarity with proprietary software systems.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate comprehension of training content throughout the program.
• Support execution of store procedures and operational processes to ensure efficiency and compliance.
• Complete Management Development Program and apply leadership principles.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production goals.
• Model CarMax values and maintain customer-first mindset.
• Prepare for transition into leadership role, manage associates and drive performance.
• Responsible for the EH&S program for your department and/or location.
