Qualifications

• No formal education requirement; six months or less of related work experience preferred.
• Ability to greet customers warmly and assist with store needs.
• Comfort with handling queries and guiding customers effectively.
• Strong teamwork and adherence to Hy-Vee policies.

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer with a smile as they enter the store and learn their names.
• Ready carts for customers as they enter the store.
• Check receipts of customers who set off electronic devices when exiting.
• Note and pass along customer suggestions or requests to improve the shopping experience.
• Answer the telephone promptly and provide friendly service.
• Assist in other areas as needed and take on special projects.
• Maintain hygiene and dress standards per Hy-Vee policies.
• Report to work as scheduled and on time.
