Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide assistance to ensure a positive visit.
• Help customers locate products, carry items, and relay feedback to the team.
• Operate the register accurately and bag groceries as needed.
• Assist at self-checkout and process returns and refunds.
• Redeem coupons, WIC checks, and other payment methods as required.
• Follow policies on tobacco, liquor, and compliance with WIC/food stamp guidelines.
• Stock, face, and rotate merchandise; keep shelves neat and organized.
• Review weekly ads for price changes and promotions.
• Maintain the register area and report cash discrepancies.
• Explain perishable item date codes to customers.
• Support store displays, promotions, and general cleaning as directed.
