Wegmans Food Markets in Warrington Township, PA, is seeking entry-level leaders to coordinate and troubleshoot daily activities of our customer service team while participating in store management duties and projects. You will develop a team, ensure tools and resources, and act as a liaison across departments in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, preferably in food service, grocery or retail.
• Ability to multitask and handle interruptions in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with computer systems and basic software.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage store operations between daytime and nighttime hours, acting as key leader and liaison among teams and various departments throughout the store; responsible for opening and closing the store, with a varied weekly schedule.
• Partner with department management to prioritize and delegate tasks and ensure Front End operations run efficiently, monitoring traffic and managing checkout lanes to reduce wait times.
• Manage performance of a team of Customer Service employees, providing resources, training, feedback, and development opportunities.
• Provide excellent customer service to customers and employees, championing Wegmans values and standards throughout the store.
• React quickly to operational challenges by coordinating with store leadership to problem solve.
• Participate in and/or lead special projects across the store to enhance company culture.
