Job summary

Wegmans Food Markets in New York seeks entry-level leaders who are passionate about collaboration, customer service, and doing their best every day. You will coordinate and troubleshoot daily activities of our customer service team and participate in store management duties and projects.

You’ll develop a deep understanding of Wegmans values and operations, leading a team across day and night shifts, while supporting store performance and culture in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience, preferably in food service, grocery or retail.
• Proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Computer skills for tracking tasks and performance.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage store operations between day and night hours, as a key leader and liaison.
• Partner with department management to delegate tasks and ensure smooth Front End operations.
• Lead and develop a team of customer service employees, providing training and feedback.
• Support store leaders in special projects to strengthen company culture.
