Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. Sierra Store in San Marcos, CA is seeking a frontline associate to promote a highly-satisfied customer experience. You will train and mentor associates, manage register transactions, and support store operations across shifts.

Ideal candidates are high school graduates with flexible schedules, strong interpersonal and customer service skills, and the ability to lift heavy merchandise. Prior retail or supervisory experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Available to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Able to work as a team member and provide direction to others.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Able to lift heavy merchandise, handle money, and run a register.
• Retail or supervisory experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Promotes a “Highly Satisfied” customer experience.
• Drives customer loyalty through programs and initiatives.
• Addresses customer concerns and issues promptly.
• Trains and mentors Associates on Policies and Procedures.
• Maintains cash controls and oversees register operations.
• Maintains merchandising and frontline standards.
• Ensures safety and adherence to labor policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
