Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Customer Service Supervisor or Full-Time Selling Floor Supervisor in Joliet, IL.

You will join the store leadership team, supervise front-end operations, coach associates, and drive sales while delivering exceptional customer service. You must have at least 1 year of supervisory experience in off-price or big-box retail, be able to work nights, weekends and holidays, and lift up to 40 lbs.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of supervisory experience within an off-price, big box, or a specialty environment.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to work a full-time schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to move/lift store merchandise weighing 40 lbs. or more and stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all store functions and associates as Manager on Duty.
• Maximize sales through training, coaching, and development of direct reports.
• Promote safety and adhere to company guidelines.
• Foster a diverse, collaborative culture.
• Ensure exceptional, friendly, and professional customer service at all times.
• Assist in recruiting and onboarding new associates.
• Coordinate workload planning and participate in meetings.
