Job summary

Burlington Stores in Commack, NY is seeking a Full-Time Customer Service Supervisor or Full-Time Selling Floor Supervisor to join our store leadership team. You’ll supervise front-end functions, coach associates, and collaborate with management to drive service and sales.

The role requires at least 1 year of supervisory experience in off-price retail, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in off-price, big-box, or specialty retail.
• Strong interpersonal and customer-service skills.
• Ability to work a full-time schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to move/stand and lift merchandise up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all store functions and associates as Manager on Duty.
• Maximize sales through training, coaching, and development of direct reports.
• Promote safety by following company guidelines.
• Cultivate a diverse culture based on teamwork and collaboration.
• Resolve issues and supervise front-end operations to ensure great service.
• Support Asset Protection strategies to prevent shortages.
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new associates.
• Participate in weekly workload planning meetings.
• Support community relations via company programs and partnerships.
• Coordinate meal/break periods and monitor schedule adherence.
